Competition
Nextpreneur aims to bring together young innovators across Europe as a UK-based entrepreneurship competition. Open to middle school and high school students, the competition offers participants the opportunity to develop innovative solutions in technology, healthcare, finance, arts, and social impact. This journey lays the foundation for an international entrepreneurship community that will unite young people from all across Europe in the future.
What is Nextpreneur?
Application
In the first stage, students submit their applications in a One-Pager format summarizing their entrepreneurial ideas.
Project Development
In the second stage, participants work on developing their projects, refining their business models, and finalizing their presentations until the day of the competition.
Competition Program
In the third stage, projects are presented to the jury, evaluations are conducted, and finalists are selected. This process gives students the opportunity to test their innovative ideas through a professional perspective.
Youth Entrepreneurship Summit
In the final stage, the Youth Entrepreneurship Summit takes place in the United Kingdom. During the summit, finalists compete on an international stage, while participants who are not finalists attend educational sessions and workshops designed to help them further develop their entrepreneurial skills.
Application Program
September
A special training program is organized for teachers from different disciplines who will mentor NextPreneur entrepreneurship projects. During this training, teachers learn the fundamentals of entrepreneurship, business plan development processes, and how to work effectively with students.
Final Application Deadline
October
Student teams consisting of 2 or 4 members submit their initial idea applications together with their mentors. At this stage, only the project category and a brief description are required.
Participation Payment
November
Teams upload their projects to the system in a One-Pager format. At the same time, the required payments for participation in the competition to be held in Antalya are completed.

Participant Profile
Middle School: 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th Grade Students
High School: Preparatory Class, 9th Grade, 10th Grade, and 11th Grade Students
Each student takes their first step into the world of entrepreneurship by competing at a level suited to their age group.
Middle school students (4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grades) compete among themselves, while high school students (preparatory class, 9th, 10th, and 11th grades) compete within their own category.
This allows every participant to compete on equal terms with their peers. NextPreneur provides an inspiring platform where young people can transform their dreams into projects and their projects into the future.

Evaluation Criteria
At NextPreneur, projects are evaluated not only based on creative ideas, but also on the depth, feasibility, and future impact of those ideas. Our jury carefully reviews each entrepreneurial project according to the following criteria:
Problem Identification and Depth of Insight
How effectively does the project define the problem it addresses? Are students able to identify and respond to a real need? The ability to demonstrate why the problem matters forms the foundation of every strong project.
Innovation and Feasibility of the Solution
Does the idea offer an original perspective? Is the proposed solution practical and sustainable in real-life conditions? Innovative thinking is one of the strongest aspects of successful projects.
Impact Area (Social, Economic, Healthcare, Finance, etc.)
How does the project contribute to society, the environment, or the economy? Is its impact limited to the short term, or can it continue creating value in the long run?
Business Model and Sustainability
Is the idea simply a project, or does it lay the groundwork for a future startup with growth potential? The financial, operational, and social sustainability of the project are all taken into consideration.
Team Competencies and Planning
How effectively do team members take on their roles? Are task distribution, time management, and planning processes handled efficiently? In entrepreneurship, success is driven by the strength of teamwork.
Presentation Skills
How convincingly is the project idea communicated? The language, design, flow, and stage performance of the presentation are all important evaluation criteria for the jury.
